Glasgow Distillery – Lowlands Single Malt Scotch Whisky

The Glasgow Distillery was founded in the heart of Glasgow in 2012, making it the first distillery in the city in over 100 years. With the aim of reviving its hometown's proud whisky tradition, Glasgow 1770 focuses on transparency, authenticity, and state-of-the-art craftsmanship in every step of production.

Glasgow 1770's unique selling proposition is its double maturation: the single malts first mature in Virgin American White Oak casks before receiving their distinctive finish in Pedro Ximénez Sherry Hogsheads. This combination of fresh wood and the intense fruitiness of the sherry gives the bottlings extraordinary complexity – from spicy BBQ smoke to dark fruit sweetness.
