Collection: Deanston
The Deanston Collection has embodied since 1966 industrial heritage in a unique repurposing of the historic Adelphi Cotton Mill 1785 , designed by Sir Richard Arkwright. The distillery in the southern Highlands at River Teith is 100% energy self-sufficient thanks to its own hydroelectric power station and is considered one of the most sustainable breweries in Scotland. Its characteristic style is light, fruity, and honeyed with malty notes from unpeated malt. The portfolio includes the The 12 Years Old forms the core of the range , alongside the innovative Virgin Oak blended with European oak and the complex 18 Years Old . The spectacular vaulted warehouse – a 204-foot Regency jewel with a cast-iron domed roof – originally served as a weaving hall and is now one of Scotland's most significant surviving industrial buildings. After closing between 1982 and 1990 , Deanston was revived by Burn Stewart and is now part of Distell/CVH Spirits . With four stills and 3 With an annual capacity of millions of liters , each unfiltered bottling combines Victorian craftsmanship with modern sustainability – authentic, pure and award-winning as Organic Certified since 2022.
