Zuidam Distillers – Millstone Dutch Single Malt Whisky

The Zuidam distillery in Baarle-Nassau follows a process deeply rooted in Dutch culture: The grain for their single malts is gently milled in traditional windmills to preserve the valuable aromas through minimal heat development. After a particularly slow, five-day fermentation at low temperatures, a double distillation in small copper pot stills follows.

The unique selling point of Millstone is the consistent maturation in the finest casks made of American white oak (Quercus Alba). This decision gives all bottlings a characteristic profile of creamy vanilla, tropical coconut, floral honey, and bright citrus notes – an unmistakable style that combines Dutch craftsmanship with the vibrancy of American oak.

Bottled without chill filtrationand without added coloring– for an authentic taste experience that preserves the full structure of the distillate.
