Tamdhu Distillery – Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky

Tamdhu Distillery was founded in 1897 on the banks of the River Spey in the Speyside region. The water for production comes from the Knockando Spring, a natural spring located directly on the distillery grounds. Tamdhu is one of the few Scottish distilleries that still boasts its own Saladin box maltings, thus retaining full control over the malting process.

Tamdhu's unique selling proposition is its consistent maturation exclusively in hand-selected Oloroso sherry casks. This decision gives all bottlings a characteristic profile of dark fruits, chocolate, dried fruit sweetness, and delicate oak spice – an unmistakable style that clearly positions Tamdhu in the Speyside landscape.
