Penderyn Distillery – Welsh Single Malt Whisky

Penderyn Distillery is located in the heart of the Brecon Beacons National Park in South Wales and opened in 2004. It is considered a pioneer of modern Welsh whisky production and was the first distillery in Wales in over 100 years.

The style is characterized by an exceptional lightness and fruitiness, created by a unique single still system designed by Dr. David Faraday. The soft spring water from the Welsh mountains gives each distillate a special purity.

A special focus is on maturation in high-quality cask types, including Madeira, sherry, port, and burgundy casks. Peated bottlings are also part of the portfolio.

Only Welsh Single Malt Whisky is produced.
