Aberlour Distillery – Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky

Aberlour Distillery was founded in 1879 by James Fleming on the banks of the River Lour in the heart of Speyside. For over 140 years, the Aberlour name has stood for artisanal precision and the art of cask selection in one of Scotland's most renowned whisky regions.

Aberlour's unique selling point is its Double Cask Maturation: the distillate matures in parallel in American oak and Oloroso sherry casks. While the American oak contributes soft vanilla and toffee elements, the sherry casks give the whisky its characteristic depth, fruitiness, and subtle spice. After years of maturation, these strands are artfully blended to create a harmonious overall profile.
