Kilchoman Whisky

The Kilchoman Distillery embodies the return to the originality of Islay – founded in 2005 by Anthony Wills as the island's first new farm distillery in over 120 years. On the traditional Rockside Farm Located in Kilchoman, the area has become rare. "Grain-to-glass" approach: From one's own barley about the Malting on the floors , which Distillation , maturation and Bottling Everything happens right on the farm. The distillery uses barley grown on the farm and draws its water from the peaty springs. Allt Gleann Osamail Burn – the basis of its distinctive, smoky-maritime character with up to 50 ppm phenol content.

The two compactly built pot stills produce a rich, oily distillate, which is used in Ex-Bourbon , Oloroso , Madeira or Port Casks matures. Kilchoman is one of the few distilleries in Scotland with a genuine Farm-to-bottle concept – a symbiosis of traditional craftsmanship and modern vision.
