Amrut Distillery – Indian Single Malt Whiskey

Amrut is a single malt distillery from India, located in Bengaluru, and is considered a pioneer of Indian single malt whisky. The distillery was founded in 1948 and began bottling single malt whisky in the early 2000s.

The tropical climate allows the whiskies to mature relatively quickly and intensely, resulting in a pronounced concentration of aromas. Stylistically, the portfolio ranges from unpeated to peated to cask-strength bottlings.

Bottling usually takes placewithout cooling filtrationandwithout added colorant.
