Johnnie Walker Green Label – The pure expression of the malt composition
Johnnie Walker Green Label is the most distinctive blended malt in the brand's portfolio, combining only carefully selected single malts from across Scotland. It is aimed at connoisseurs who appreciate the complexity of single malts but don't want to miss out on the harmonious balance of a masterfully composed blend.
Taste experience
This blend combines four iconic single malts – including Talisker, Caol Ila, Cragganmore, and Linkwood – to create a complex yet approachable taste experience. Herbal spice, fresh grassy and forest notes, sweet maltiness, and subtle smokiness meld together to form a balanced profile of depth and elegance.
Special feature
Unlike classic blended Scotch whiskies, Green Label uses only malt whiskies that have matured for at least 15 years. This long maturation period in various oak casks gives the whisky a pronounced aromatic intensity, with each region of Scotland contributing its own character – from maritime and smoky to fruity and malty. The result is a blend that brings the terroir of Scotland to life in a single bottling.
Tasting Notes
