Maturation & Special Feature

The Isle of Raasay Distillery on the Scottish island of the same name combines smoky malted barley with a unique cask selection. This bottling from the Na Sia Single Cask Series was distilled in 2018 and bottled in 2026. It spent its entire seven-year maturation period in rye whiskey cask number 18/839.

The rye influence comes from the cask: the whisky itself is a single malt made from malted barley. The rye spice of the cask profile complements the peat smoke with peppery and cinnamon accents. Bottled without coloring or chill filtration, this island malt retains its expressive character.
