This 19-year-old Speyside Single Malt matured in an Ex-Solera Sherry Cask – a cask previously used in the Solera process with sherry, thus imparting an exceptional depth of dried fruits, spice, and dark sweetness to the whisky. A rare bottling for connoisseurs who appreciate the interplay of time and wood.

Tasting Notes

Aroma

Rich and inviting: dark raisins, Medjool dates, and plum jam, underpinned by dark chocolate, walnut, and a hint of leather. With a little air, notes of orange marmalade, cinnamon, and old oak unfold.

Palate

Full-bodied and oily with a velvety texture. Dried figs, black cherries, and Muscovado sugar meet cloves, ginger, and dark chocolate. The 19 years of maturation give the whisky remarkable depth and harmony.

Finish

Long, warm, and dry-spicy – lingering notes of espresso, dried fruits, and a hint of oak tannin.
