Production & Maturation

As part of the innovative Càraid Ìleach range (Gaelic for "Friend of Islay"), this exceptional single malt was matured exclusively in Oloroso sherry quarter casks. The smaller quarter casks accelerate maturation and intensify the contact between whisky and wood, resulting in remarkable depth and complexity of flavor.

Bottled without chill filtration or added coloring, this Islay whisky presents itself in its most authentic form. The combination of the characteristic peat smoke from the Ardnahoe distillery and the sweet, fruity notes from the Oloroso casks creates a harmonious balance between strength and elegance.
