This Batch B1/24 bottling is presented at 57.5% ABV. Twelve years of maturation provide depth, while the oily texture and long finish invite mindful enjoyment.

The distinction: Single Pot Still from Midleton

At the Midleton Distillery in Cork, this whiskey is crafted from a mash of malted and unmalted barley. Traditional triple distillation in copper pot stills and twelve years of maturation in selected oak casks define its complex profile. As an original bottling at cask strength, without artificial coloring and non-chill filtered, it retains its authentic character.

Taste experience

Dried apricots and sultanas meet exotic fruits and fresh citrus nuances. A touch of sherry and toasted wood adds depth to the nose. On the palate, creamy vanilla, pepper, and fine spices combine with a full-bodied, oily texture. Toasted oak, barley, and a subtle hint of mint accompany the long finish. A few drops of water can further open up the fruit notes, turning the glass into a small voyage of discovery.

Tasting Notes

Nose

Complex with dried apricots, sultanas, exotic fruits, and citrus nuances.
